Somewhere in the hills near Coimbra, Portugal, there is land. Olive trees. A stone house that needs work. And a small group of people who want to build something different — together.
What it is
Slow land. Shared purpose.
The Ikigai Village Farm is not a retreat centre or an agritourism project. It is a working piece of land that belongs to the community — in spirit, if not yet in deed.
We grow food. We build structure. We host short stays for community members who need quiet, nature, and honest work with their hands. It is the physical anchor of everything Ikigai Village is about.
Right now we are in the early stages: planning, finding the right people, deciding how ownership and stewardship should work. If this resonates, we want to hear from you.
